From the DS Desk…

God is still visiting His people.

For Mary the Mother of Jesus, it was a message of assurance and comfort, for it was through her that God brought Jesus Christ, His son, into this world.

As a virgin, how could she conceive without knowing a man? To Mary, the mother of Jesus, this was an exception, for she conceived that which is of the Holy Ghost!

God incarnate, whom we celebrate this season, was heralded by the prophet lsaiah saying ”For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

He is Emmanuel, God with us.

Whereas the world we live in is full of hate, envy, pain, and heartache, God has given us a wonderful Gift of life, Jesus Christ, who offers us peace, love, joy, and pardon for sins. Anyone who comes to God believing on His Son Jesus Christ will be accepted.

Jesus is still pleading for the redemption of all who will offer their lives to Him. This Christmas can be the best for you if you accept Him into your life. Jesus will not only come into your life, but will give you a wonderful transformation, a new heart and a new Spirit to navigate this life with a meaningful purpose.

As you hear His voice through His Word and Spirit-filled Christmas songs this season, do not harden your heart. It’s God visiting you. Mary responded, saying, “Be it unto me according to thy word”. (Luke 1:38) Yielding your life to God will certainly be good for you in this present life and in eternity.

Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance!
